1. Wear the ASO over an athletic sock. Position the heel
of your foot in the heel locking area of the ASO. Lace the
ASO, being certain that there is no greater than two (2)
inches of separation between the middle of the lacing
eyelets (if the separation is greater than 2 inches, move
up to the next larger size; if there isn't a separation,
move down to the next smaller size).
2. Bring the inside stabilizing strap forward across the
top of the foot. Wrap the inside stabilizing strap under
the heel and attach the Velcro end of the strap to the
outer upper side of the ASO.
3. Bring the outside stabilizing strap forward across the
top of the foot. Wrap the outside stabilizing strap under
the heel and attach the Velcro end of the strap to the
inner upper side of the ASO.
4. To ensure optimum performance and support, tighten both
stabilizing straps from a seated position with the foot
flat on the floor. Use the finger loops at the strap ends
to free the strap from the Velcro on the sides of the ASO.
Pull up firmly on both straps, and then press the straps
against the upper portions of the ASO to secure.
5. Wrap the elastic cuff closure over tied laces and
stabilizing straps. The elastic cuff should be stretched
to where the ASO logo is facing forward.
